The Indian Army has announced the Agniveer Recruitment 2025 Notification for candidates in Kashmir and Ladakh under the Agnipath scheme. The Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Srinagar invites applications from unmarried male candidates for multiple Agniveer posts.

Post Details:

The available posts include Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical), Agniveer (Tradesmen – 10th Pass), and Agniveer (Tradesmen – 8th Pass). Candidates with an LMV Driving License will get preference for driver recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Agniveer (General Duty), candidates must have passed 10th with 45% marks overall and 33% in each subject. For Agniveer (Technical), a 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English (minimum 50% marks) is required. Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) requires a 12th pass in any stream with 60% marks overall and 50% in each subject. Agniveer (Tradesmen – 10th Pass) must have passed the 10th standard with 33% marks in each subject, while Agniveer (Tradesmen – 8th Pass) must have passed 8th with the same criteria. The age limit for all posts is between 17.5 and 21 years.

Physical Standards:

For Agniveer (General Duty, Technical, and Tradesmen), the required height is 163 cm for Jammu & Kashmir and 157 cm for Ladakh, with a chest measurement of 77 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion). Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) requires a height of 162 cm for Jammu & Kashmir and 157 cm for Ladakh, with the same chest requirements. Weight is as per Army guidelines.

Selection Process:

The selection process includes an Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE), a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at the Rally Site (1.6 Km Run, Pull-ups, 9 ft Ditch, and Zig-Zag Balance), a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (height, weight, and chest expansion), a Medical Examination at the rally site, and a Final Merit List & Document Verification.

Salary & Benefits:

In the 1st year, the monthly salary is ₹30,000, with an in-hand salary of ₹21,000 after deductions, and ₹9,000 contributed to the corpus fund. The salary increases each year.
