Hiring of Vocational Trainers on Contractual Basis in Jammu and Kashmir

Valeur Fabtex Private Limited, an NSDC-empanelled Training Partner, is inviting applications for the engagement of Vocational Trainers in the following fields: Agriculture, Electronics & Hardware, IT-ITES, and Tourism & Hospitality. A total of nine (09) positions are available in various government schools across the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir.

Available Positions and Qualifications

1. Agriculture (Dairy Worker) – 2 Positions

Locations: Doda (1), Kishtwar (1)
Required Qualifications:

  • Post-graduation in Dairying/Animal Husbandry
  • Master’s Degree in Food Technology with an elective subject in Dairy/Animal Husbandry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology with an elective in Dairy/Animal Husbandry (minimum 2 years’ experience)
  • Diploma in Veterinary Science or Husbandry (minimum 3 years’ experience)

2. Electronics & Hardware – 4 Positions

Locations: Baramulla (1), Anantnag (2), Udhampur (1)
Required Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication with one year of experience
  • OR Three-year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication (minimum 2 years’ experience)

3. IT-ITES – 2 Positions

Locations: Kathua (2)
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application, Science, or Information Technology (BCA/B.Sc/B.E. in Computer Science or IT)
  • OR DOEACC A-Level Certificate
  • Desirable: At least 1 year of work experience in the relevant field and knowledge of equipment, tools, material, safety, health, and hygiene.

4. Tourism & Hospitality (Food & Beverages Service Assistant) – 1 Position

Location: Poonch (1)
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management with at least 3 years of work/teaching experience in Food & Beverage Service
  • OR Three-year Diploma in Hotel Management (minimum 5 years of work/teaching experience)
  • OR Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Tourism & Travel Management, Hospitality Management/Administration, or Hotel Management

Minimum Competency Requirements

  1. Strong oral and written communication skills
  2. Basic computing and technical competency
  3. Soft skills and facilitation skills

Note: The listed qualifications are the minimum criteria; higher qualifications may also be considered.

Pre-Requisites for Applicants

  1. Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
  2. District-Based Selection:
    • Preference will be given to candidates from the same district where the vacancy exists.
    • If no suitable candidate is found within the district, selection will be made from another district within the same division.
  3. Age Limit:
    • 18 to 40 years (as of January 2025)
    • Age relaxation as per government rules.
  4. Vacancy Adjustments: The number of vacancies may increase or decrease at the time of engagement.

Salary and Employment Terms

  • Gross Honorarium: ₹20,000/- per month
  • Contractual Basis: These positions are not government jobs and are purely contract-based.
  • The selection process is based on merit, and management reserves the right to accept/reject applications without assigning reasons.
